I just wanted to take a moment and post my thoughts about our recent
experience w/ Blackstone kennel and they're beautiful Am Bulldogs. We
recently had lost our pet due to cancer. I was searching online for an
Am Bulldog puppy. We are new to the breed and I was a bit leery about
buying a dog from another state (difficult to find them local). Well, we
ran across this lil' male bulldog that caught my attention. Long story
short, we drove 4hr each way to get him and haven't regretted it for one
moment. We named him Otto and he is exactly what we were looking for.
Otto's mom and dad were friendly, clean and in great condition
(something you always should check for)!! I have no reservations in
recommending Blackstone Kennels and they're dogs.

I welcomed Stewie (my first Blackstone Kennel American Bulldog),
into my home in January 2006. Stewie has been a loving member ever
sense. He gets along perfect with our other dog, and is often found
sleeping right beside her. In public, Stewie is good on leash or is fine
without one. He loves little kids, and hunts them down just to lay in
front of them. He is the ultimate fun loving sweet dog. I have had
countless questions by friends and family about where I got him,
because of his temperament and good nature.
I strongly recommend Blackstone Kennel.

Let's us start by saying that we have had the best experience with
Blackstone Kennel. They have always taken the time to answer any
questions we may have had. Honest and Trustworthy. We actually have
became great friends with these folks! We have even taken our Bulldog
back for a visit.
Our little Bulldog, Ezekiel, or as we fondly call him "Zeke" has been the
highlight of our lives. We lost our sweet Boxer to cancer in November
2005. We started looking for a strong but loving dog to bring into our
family. With Zeke we got that and more. We run a farm, so we needed a
dog with stamina. At 5 1/2 months old he already weighs 60lbs. He is
excellent with other animals and dogs. He is also quiet the "ladies man".
He loves people so much that we think his feelings are actually hurt if
everyone does not stop to pet him or better yet... smooch on him. He is an
outstanding bulldog. It took us only 2 months to completely house break
him. And he has NEVER pooped in the house. He loves to be outdoors
riding the six wheeler or playing in the creek. He is such a clown. If you
want to have a lot of fun and lots of love, I highly recommend an American
Bulldog from Blackstone Kennel for your family!

Abigail (Abby) joined our family in July of last year
while Tiberios (Ty) became our newest puppy this February. They have
proved to be loving and priceless additions to our family. They spend
the majority of their day lounging about, antagonizing each other, or
giving my wife, my boys, and myself endless affection. They enjoy
running around the base with me, playing with the kids, and playing
tug-o-war with each other. They are mischievous and always full of
energy. Our family is never in want of a face lick, a cuddle bug, or a
friend. Their only animal companion is Chloe, our cat, who enjoys
persuading Abby into a tongue bath and Ty into a chase about the
house. They complete our family and are priceless members of the
Russell household.
*Within the next year we intend to breed Abby. Although, I have not yet
decided on the male I intend to breed her with. Please look out for
upcoming Abigail pups!!!

I deeply appreciate your willingness to
show us around this afternoon. Please
let me say that I was also impressed
with the manner in which you obviously
care for your animals. While I love this
breed (bulldog), I certainly have little
love for some of the folks I've seen
raising them. I know you are very aware
of what I mean. It is refreshing to see
that there are still folks like you who
pride themselves in running a quality
operation with their bulldogs. As I said,
I was impressed..Your dogs are
obviously well cared for and loved. The
kennels were clean, as was your
property. Again, it was a pleasure to
meet you. I look forward to working
with you in the future. (By the way,
Dianne absolutely fell in love with your
rowdy little brown male Patty).
